I decided to redo a piece I did last semester, because although I liked the concept as an overall illustration I felt like it could've been better. So I feel like I captured the mood I was going for with this one :)

An illustration depicting the greek myth about Apollo and Daphne,
which if anyone isn't familiar with basically Apollo falls in love with
Daphne who despises him. In order to escape him she prays to her father
to save her and he turns her into a laurel tree. I just really wanted to
draw a tree lady, I can't say that I'm a huge fan of this particular
myth.
