The Little Mermaid

My version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen :) One of my favorite fairy tales.

Captain Katarina and the Great Eels

Another fantasy illustration, this is a depiction from an excerpt called "Captain Katarina and the Great Eels." I can't seem to not have turquoise/teal green in my color scheme...

Dryad and the Dragon Redux

I redid this piece for my portfolio, you can see the first version I did a year ago that I posted a couple months ago on the blog :)

Hades is a Creep...Again

I decided to redo a piece I did last semester, because although I liked the concept as an overall illustration I felt like it could've been better. So I feel like I captured the mood I was going for with this one :)

An illustration depicting the greek myth about Apollo and Daphne, which if anyone isn't familiar with basically Apollo falls in love with Daphne who despises him. In order to escape him she prays to her father to save her and he turns her into a laurel tree. I just really wanted to draw a tree lady, I can't say that I'm a huge fan of this particular myth.

Jane Eyre and Edward Rochester in front of Thornfield Manor.
